Anyone believe in mummy curses?

A sixth person connected to the discovery of the 5,300-year old frozen man known as Oetzi the Iceman has died, fuelling fears of a curse surrounding the mummified body.

Casimir's tomb was opened on Friday, April 13, 1973. Twelve researchers were present. Inside the tomb they found a wooden coffin that was heavily rotted. Within a few days, four of the twelve had died. Not long after, there were only two survivors: Dr. Boleslaw Smyk, a microbiologist, and Dr. Edward Roszyckim. Smyk was to suffer problems with his equilibrium for the next five years.

King Tut's tomb was uncovered and several archaeologists have died also.

The scientific approach states that uncovering tombs releases certain fungi, respiratory bacterias but many people that have fell victims to the mummy curses died from car crashes, hiking accidents, avalanches, etc.

Decomposing bodies (even after being turned into jerky) aren't really good things to be around.

And people do die from time to time from things like car crashes.

Shitty things happen. People like to point fingers to establish a causal relationship. Then they avoid the 'cause' of the misfortune and still die in a car wreck.

Curses? Nah.

But I am still waiting for scientists to uncover some crazy ass bacteria unter the antarctic that will wipe us all out.
