Entro123
I've got two speakers and my computer, that's it. Now I need an amplifier to get my computer connected to the speakers - correct? What's the differencet between an amplifier, an analog amplifier, a digital amplifier, a pre-amplifier and an effect-amplifiers? My goal is in the future when I have more money, to get two 1210's and a mixer. Id' also like to get surround sound hooked up to my TV/DVD. So if I'm investing in an amplifier it should be one that can meet those needs correct? And following this, which one would you compare to someone who doesn't have a lot of money but would still like decent sound? Than you. beardofzeus
most computer sound systems are relatively cheap and are powered so you dont need an amp. For less than a hundred bucks you can get a 5.1 speakersurround sound system that sounds pretty decent and has enough power for average household use(tv or computer), plus they come with a small subwoofer. Much less hassle than dealing with speaker wire's and amps and shit. But if you are talking about Audiophile quality sound....spending money shouldn't be a problem.
