He put two sucessfull things together, Converse and AF1s... and then threw a little "attention craving flamboyancy" on top~ which everyone knows fashionistas eat up He also saw the oppourtunity to exploit ideas coming from NY "T Shirt culture", so he took SSUR (of SSURPLUS') idea of making modified planet of the apes tee's and took his own fat trust fund , made a big buzz and took off with it..
