dosoner Posted October 7, 2005 Share Posted October 7, 2005 well, there isnt really any good ethnic places to eat. and there isnt a gay area either. there isnt any dog parks, but there is alot of open fields and that type of thing that are great fore dogs. all there really is, is alot of casinos and tourists. if youeat meat, and like a good burger, be sure to get an awful awful at the little nugget right down town. its a pretty artsy little city, and if your into that kinda thing, be sure to check out neverender. its a gallery and store that sells some really nice handmade stuff all made by local artists. as far as graffiti goes, there is alot of writers for the size of the place. and alot of beef comes with it. ill let know you if if/when i amgoing back in a few weeks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tough Love Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 well seeing how most of its over, heres what went down and what will go down friday: stayed at school till 7pm to get my school work done (reading and takin notes) went to judo practice after 3 yrs of non training from 8 to 10...missed my bus home at 11pm, so i had to call my folks to pick me upp sat. slept the fuck in and was very sore from the friday activities. Pretty much did nothing but lazy around all day sunday watched taped F1 GP from Japan. Did school work for the remainder of the day. Gunna watch some sunday night TV to chill out. Here's how that went though: Friday: Up at 8 am to drive my girl to southern New Jersey to get her hair done for a wedding (she's in the bridal party). Drop her off at 10:30, and realize I am now in the middle of New Jersey with nothing to do until a 4pm wedding... and I can't check into the hotel until 3. Spend 4 hours at a Starbucks using their internet and my cel phone trying to track down a dead deer for work. No luck. Leave, and hit some crazy discount hardware spot where I score about thirty Rustos for $19. Wedding, food, drunk, hotel. Saturday: Home. Rainy. Hungover. Find a couch on Craigslist for mad cheap. Go to a friend's, watch SNL, smoke a joint, and eat a pie. Remix a couple of songs. Sunday: Shopping, because my girlfriend wants new throw pillows and a rug to match the new couch. I spend the whole time on the phone trying to track down and hire an assistant (unsuccessfully) and a dead deer (also unsuccessfully). Awesome dinner at Kate's Joint in the East Village. And I score a new winter coat because it turned to Autumn overnight on Friday. * I almost forgot the highlight of the weekend-- I found the a capella of "Juicy" by Biggie. Results soon on mixtrader.
