ya know......mumia writes weekly for various zine, journals, and gazettes...he's got alot to say within the realms of socialism...cough.. but what will he do once out? become a headfigure for a cause ala jesse jackson/farikhan?

or will he just inspire another generation to get dreadlocks and become so politicaly muddled and confused that the only thing they can believe in is their bob marley posters hanging on the walls as the take bong hit after bong hit preparing for another hippy infused rally..?

wait huh?

from the evidence that ive seen, mumia at least deserves a new trial. he was just denied again last june. hes a political prisoner... not just a head-figure for a movement. unfair and unjust incarceration is not acceptable... especially when the facts and evidence are as heavy as in this case. if he was given a fair trial, unbiased and fair... he would have walked.

but by him being incarcerated and on death row, his story has activated peoples minds and created an awareness where it would have otherwise been dross.

What's much worse: camp X-Ray at Guantanamo. They have hundreds of political prisoners, no fair trials, inhumane treatment, etc... Now THAT's something worth fussing about.
