2 blaazed Posted July 29, 2005 Author Share Posted July 29, 2005 Six people at an upstate summer camp, including three from Brooklyn, were killed Wednesday when their car slammed into a dump truck north of the city. The accident happened just west of Monticello around noon yesterday. The six victims, their ages ranging from 12 to 25, all died at the scene. All six victims were staying at a summer dance camp in the Catskills. The camp supervisor says the victims include a counselor and five campers who were on their way to a local lake. The camp is shutting down for the rest of the summer. The driver of the dump truck involved in the accident was treated and released. Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
