H. Lecter
The Dead Zone is an awesome film with brilliant acting by Christopher Walken, Michael Sheen and Brooke Adams are good as well. Easily one of the best adaptaions of a Stephen King film. !!!
4horsemen
the football factory was pretty ill, OY OY, I watched green street hooligans first and was all siked on that flick, but after watching football factory man I felt like GSH is so lite weight. What can I expect after finding out that GSH was directed by a woman, and FF was directed by a real hooligan!

fermentor666
The Pet Sematary - Another good Stephen King horror flick (there are very few) it is actually quite creepy - worth checking out. This was on my Movie Unappreciation thread, terrible acting and just blah.
Anthony from Brooklyn
The movie with the pedo and the girl is Hard Candy. The premise is better than the actual movie.

fermentor666
Throw another thumbs up for the Departed, I thought it was great. I'd even consider putting it over Goodfellas in terms of the perfection of his craft in this film. Amazing performances all around and it was South Boston, through and through. Hard to compare it to Goodfellas because it's about ONE mob boss rather than a whole syndicate, and it's also a totally different film. I'm still weighing on it but I'm leaning towards The Departed because there is no glorification of the mob and because it works so much more heavily on a personal level. I can relate more to the film than Goodfellas or Casino, so it makes way more of an impact on me. They're all great movies, in my opinion, but I think Departed takes the edge. And I'm not just saying that because I'm from MA.
shitting
The departed was really good, but the absurdity of the ending was a letdown.
mindvapors
You're too young for it, I guess. Eh, i honestly don't think so. I wasn't too young for 2001: A Space Odyssey, Contact, or Sphere at age 15-18. Though, i'm talking all of those as the books (2001 the movie was horrible too).
