weirdone
the next 3 days was better than expected just finished enter the void. very interesting idea for a movie BUT if anyone reads this before watching it i will give you fair warning that if you understand where the movie is going at the point where dudes sister is getting fucked at the end, you may just want to end the movie there. some things cannot be unseen cumshotviewedfrominsidevagoner

ShortFuse
Ive been bored with certain movies these days and Ive relied heavily on this thread to supply me with recommendations. So far so good but the past couple pages Ive viewed. So I went to page 1 and well so far tonight Ive thoroughly enjoyed this movie, as I do take to foreign films. Oh and yes I finally got around to seeing the NEWer Inglorious Bastards. Good Flick.

Yet Im like you atm because Im running low on instant watches and have been downloading what i can find off of demonoid. :edit: And I do believe the Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Old boy, and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.
earl broclo ESQ
My girl got this on Netflix: I recommend it. It's slow paced and really well directed. It was also made for only two million bucks, which can be considered a low budget flick now a days. It ended up making a $14 million profit in theaters. So if you like slow paced drama/thriller flicks --I recommend this one.

earl broclo ESQ
Shortfuse --are you talking about Dominque Pinon? He's in almost all of Jeunet's films. If you like Delicatessan, City of Lost Children, and Amelie, then you'll probably like his latest film.
ShortFuse
Word. Yeah I guess thats his name. I was never good at remembering actors names although I dont ever forget a face. I just watched the preview for Micmacs looks awesome. Always such a strange style of stuff in his movies. Dope.
earl broclo ESQ
I saw Delicatessen when I was 15. It was one of the first foreign flicks I ever saw, and changed how I watched film. It's crazy to think that was 20 years ago.

ShortFuse
I saw Delicatessen when I was 15. It was one of the first foreign flicks I ever saw, and changed how I watched film. It's crazy to think that was 20 years ago. Ive been taking to foreign films more and more when i want to find good value all around. Hollywood is just pretty life and big explosions these days, well its been that way for a while. Even a lot of the american independents I come across are just a hundred pointless cuts of nothing that is faked so the viewer feels its something deep and special....and its not. btw.... Micmacs was really good. Definitely a great recommendation thanks.

earl broclo ESQ
If you enjoy dry comedy, slow pace, and Jim Jarmusch's movies, then I HIGHLY recommend these: Man Without a Past I'm pretty sure I've recommended them in here before. Aki Kaurismaki is one of my favorite directors, so I recommend checking out his work if you like the two above.
