fermentor666
This came on cable today, forgot how good it was: Peter Jackson: This one is great, the American remake was also very good until they completely changed and Hollywood-ized the ending. Funny, because the remake was by the same director as the original (Dutch film). Guy and his wife go on a vacation and stop at a rest stop. Girlfriend goes in to the store, never comes back out. Mystery and suspense ensues.

H. Lecter
25th hour. !!!! GREAT flick Break down of the main characters arrest & conviction followed by the last day of his freedom.. story unravels like a ball of yarn.. Great screenplay, a script that keeps you guessing and has plenty of genius shots~ -- One of the best ever~ and always slipping my mind when talking about movies~>

fermentor666
^^ Not really. I don't think they prettied V up that much at all. The only real de-edging was making Evie into a television worker instead of a prostitute, but they tied that into the story pretty nicely. H. Lecter
Bom Yeoreum Gaeul Gyeoul Geurigo Bom aka Spring Summer Fall Winter and Spring Slow moving, quiet , yet mesmerizing movie in true buddhist form.. The more I describe it, the more I can ruin it for a first time viewer, so let me just say that it is a powerful movie that sparks the conscience, absolutely beautiful in terms of aesthetics and spirit.. Knowledge of basic principles of buddhism may be needed to grasp the meaning though
