Tough Love
man complaining to big companies consistantly really pays off in the end. just insist on talking to a manager or bring the problem straight to them. they'll pretty much bend over backwards to help you out(no homo)
dumy
did you have apple care (apples insurance program) when you took it in?..cuz a friend of mine just bought one recently and they advised him to get applecare at the apple store if something ever happened to it... mental invalid
what generation doesnt matter, what matters is the warranty standard warranty, 90 days phone support, 1 yr sending it in. apple care - 1 year of phone support, 2 year sending it in i got the apple care, but only after i called apple and they said that my 90 days was up, but you have 1 year to get the extended... call over the phone for apple care and you can claim the education price, a couple bucks off... if you go to an apple store, go to the apple site first and schedule an appt... i think thats all i can advise of...but yeah i got the apple care, but im not sure if its needed... i guess at 300 bucks, its probably a better bet, i just get pissed about me having to insure myself against a faulty product... oh and headphones are also under warranty....i get a new set
