Mine has broke twice and I have had to do this...if you tore that little sticker on the back off and it say void void void vodi vodi they wont do shit for ya...good luck. frankie the porn magician Posted July 9, 2005 Share Posted July 9, 2005 try the dvd cleaner before calling sony.most of the time thats the problem becuase its usually dust build up on the lens.u can open it up and clean the lense urself but u wouldnt think that would be a good idea.ive also heard of turning it which is supposed to do something but that sounds like ur asking to break it.so do what im gonna do and get a dvd cleaner.although ill porbably not get around to it since not playing cds isnt a big deal. fermentor666 Posted July 9, 2005 Share Posted July 9, 2005 I dunno if this has been said, but DVDs supposedly mess up your PS2 if you play them too much because it's constantly reading the disc, unlike a game which loads sections of the game and then rests.
