ya, i talked to sum people. we have sumthing like 14,900 of 15,000 max users. and we had over 100 yet-to-be-confirmed registrations, hence the max capacity message, asked them if they could drop sum old ones. they said they would get back to me, guess they did. no problem, wats ur handle on it?

CASEK: well this isnt gameshark, its similar. i say its better because it can use all of gamesharks codes plus their own database.

just keep the file in it's original downloaded form (to ensure 100% seeding) and start the torrent just like you did when you downloaded it. It will automatically start to upload (seed) for you, instead of download.

ok... thats easy enough. now what program should i use to copy movies to cd. (starwars is over 8 gigs!) i dont have to loot to get more space on my hard-drive.

well my friend, there's not way to burn it to CD. but if u have a DVD burner and if u want to burn it (NOT TO BE SEEN ON A DVD PLAYER):

a) if its ONE file->Split in 2 with WinRAR and burn each piece to a DVD as a data DVD.

b) if its MORE THAN ONE file, just burn each file to a seperate CD/DVD.

size matters.

oh werd... i hear that... you need split the files into multiples. i dont know what program to use in order to execute said opperation.. and then to transfer to cd. would nero work?

thanks homie

[/b]

In order to execute said operation u must used said program: WinRAR.. just keep in mind the size of everything, files AND the media ur burning onto.

no prob.

For those who want the Family Guy movie, but dont want to mess with torrents, try these. You'll need all 3 parts and the program WinRAR.

Part 1:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=42KYJJC1

Part 2:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=43JH0GAN

Part 3:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=40FJ3PE5

After downloading all 3, have them in the same folder. Right-click the first (or any i think) file and choose extract here (or extract to...).

I swear to god I'm never going to figure this shit out.

I'm using BitComet.

I'm rendering all of my music and software plugins to torrents right now. I clicked 'start' on one of my torrents that appeared where my last attempt at downloading was displayed and it won't get past the 'connecting' stage.. I have to do this to get my 'uploaded data' in order to get decent download speeds, right?

I installed peerguardian... and I guess I configured it to the best of my ability. It doesn't say it's blocked anything yet so this probably isn't what's doing it.

I've checked for various bit torrent tutortial sites and even talked to a kid on soulseek for a while to get me to this point but I'm fucking stuck.

What the fuck am I doing wrong? I got the torrent and tried to download that snuff film thing posted a while ago only to watch it say it was downloading and give me absolutely no data after about 15 minutes when I cancelled it.

Why can't this stupid shit ever work for me? All I want is State Your Name...

Google Earth Pro..I know someone has the damn serial I need..come'on guys...

dude, ive been having it since the crack was released. I've uploaded it here:

Google Earth Pro June, 2005 v3.0.03xx beta Setup and crack (15.4 MB):

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=400V50NN

That is the correct 100% working combination at the moment. Don't try and update to the newest beta because some functions such as the Movie Maker (which i find fun) will be disabled.

Enjoy it.

bump for cool shit for the taking

I just switched from Shareaza to Azureus and I'm lovin it, I have been trying to get the first two episodes of the HBO series Rome. At 350mbs a pop it should've been finished overnight, but I have been stuck on 95% for two days, switched to Azueus and they were completed in less than a minute and the third episode has only taken an hour.

ATTENTION: PEERGUARDIAN USERS

Methlabs.org Hijacked

September 16, 2005

Michael Ingram

The Methlabs.org domain and server, owned by the group of the security specialists behind the IP blocking tool PeerGuardian, has been taken over by the server administrator.

The group has moved to temporary hosting at SourceForge, where they have posted the following message:

“The majority of the Methlabs.org administration and development team have been forced out of their website following a series of threats and incidents. The member of the group that had been trusted to handle the finances and servers slowly managed to take over each individual part of the website's assets, eventually claiming control over the entire group and locking out the majority of staff.

“The organisation's founders, Tim Leonard and Ken McKelland, as well as the majority of the organisation's staff and developers (including the main developer of the PeerGuardian2 application, Cory Nelson and the staff members responsible for auditing the PeerGuardian Blocklists) have all been forcibly removed from the servers that were funded from donations given to the organization by happy users, and from text advertising placed on the websites forum and project pages.

“The money, which was to have been used to help fund the development and hosting costs of the group is now unavailable, stolen by the one who was trusted to keep it.”

Because the incident involves a dispute over a domain name, the Methlabs staff are not yet going to name the server administrator responsible.

"We won't be rash in naming anyone," Joseph Farthing, public relations at Methlabs told Slyck News. "It's still perhaps possible that this could be resolved, however unlikely it seems."

The Whois information for the domain names Cerberius as the current owner, causing some speculation that he is responsible. Cerberius uses the nickname “cerberius” at Methlabs.

It is unknown why the hijacker wants ownership of the domain.

“If we had known what he wanted from day one, it might have made this situation easier to deal with. He certainly transferred the domain before any arguments started with him, sometime in mid august, we just simply didn't know that he had done it,” Farthing said.

Farthing went on to say that the team is now concentrating on setting up a new site and server. Safe backup copies of the site will minimize the downtime.

“We'll try to restore the entire site somewhere, perhaps we'll need to have a slightly renamed domain,” Farthing added.

The temporary Methlabs site at SourceForge is hosting the PeerGuardian installation files. The Linux version will become available when the backups are uploaded.

Despite the setback, Farthing remains defiant,

"We'll be back."

UPDATE: Cerberius, now confirmed as the hijacker, has posted news on Methlabs.org, claiming the hijacking news is false and stems from a revolt by former team members.

However, after speaking to the Methlabs team and various connected members of the community, P2Pnet, SuprNova and Slyck can all confirm that the original story that the domain has been hijacked is genuine.

PeerGuardian users are advised to stop using the Methlabs.org and Blocklist.org hosted blocklists in favor of the Bluetack list.
