so i havent really been checking the oz recently (its amazing what internet beef and toys can do) but i have a question.

who has tips to avoid stressfull moving days? im moving into my own house 2mrw...and i have a feeling it will be mega stressfull..

how can i avoid this? the fact that my mums helping me move my shit wont help one bit.

but on the whole, feeling independant rocks!

• If you work out on the regular, go for a run tonight.

• Have a great orgasm (weather self indused or not) before bed.

• Try to get 2 hrs extra sleep tonight.

• Wake up to a cold glass of OJ.

• And get started no lolly-gaggaling

• Have plenty of water on hand

• When you disagree with your mother's ideas and suggestions don't

argue just do it your way (you'll save time)

• End the day with junk food

Throw all your old shit away...get new stuff....

or just leave it all at your old place.

Otherwise...

Keep al lthem boxes labelled up...practice your handstyle..

Keep kitchen shit with kitchen shit washroom shit with washroom shit...makes it easier to unpack.

Put all the boxes where they need to go..so you labelled it kitchen?..don't just toss every thing in a pile in your living room...actually put the damb thing in the kitchen..it'll make things that much easier...

I never unpack all my shit on the same day... i take it slow and only take the nescessaties out at first..

an what Deterrent says..

Nothin's better then a new crib to kick off your shoes at!

deterrent did a good job....especially the ending with junk food part. a pitcher of beer and some wings was my last post move meal.

one thing i find crucial to a move is the ability to throw things away.....throw away or donate all items below and you will be golden. no lie.

-clothes you havent worn in the last 8 months (except winter coats and suits)

-anything you havent used in the last 6 months and dont forsee yourself using in the near future....you always think your going to need it but guess what. you wont.

-all of your scrap paint

-all irrelivant paper matter including bills....they will resend them, dont worry.

you should be left with a few random items that you can toss into your trunk. the rest will fit neatly into your moving truck.

in the future you may want to politely decline your mothers offer to help and invite over a few friends. i always find it easier when i can swear like a madman and drink a cold beer after i move something really heavy.

I fogot about the throwing stuff out. A++++

Also the beer you choose is very important, Get some tall boys if your poor or

pint-22oz bottles if you feel like splurging. I go with Tiskie, it's polish and

comes in 18oz. bottles. Bigger beers will make you work harder.

**edit**

I also fogot how to spell, not fixxing it.

cheers for all the advice...

ive actually been on the ball for one time in my life - all my shit has been cut down to what i need and the crap has been thrown away. i must have filled 2 big bin liners alone with scraps of paper, ripped rizla etc!

no need to worry on the beer at the end of the day situation...HOUSE PARTY!!

my theory is, if i get rid of mum within a few hours, evrything will be fine! once im able to sit back and smoke a spliff or 2 everything will be a lot clearer!
