****Radiators' Truck Stolen****

Subject: Fwd: APB -> New Orleans Radiators - Stolen Equipment Truck

Apologies in advance for the crosspost.

Last night or very early this morning the fully loaded Radiators'

equipment truck was stolen from the St. Charles/Josephine

Street area. It is a 28-foot Isuzu truck from Enterprise, white

with the green Enterprise logo on the side, license plate

B450206. (ed: in New Orleans, LA)

Equipment includes irreplaceable guitars and other instruments.

If any of you see this truck or have any information about who

may have taken it, please call the police immediately. As we

work with the police and insurers, we will publicize equipment

serial numbers, etc. across the country.

We are an alert and far reaching community. Let's find the truck

and the stuff on it and the lowlife scumbags who did this, and

keep one of our favorite bands on the stage making the music

we have loved for so many years and so desperately need at

this time.

to repeat the info on the Truck:

Isuzu 28 foot white ENTERPRISE Rental (green letters) box truck.

Plate number: Louisiana B450206

The was a Rads Classic bumper sticker on the front engine hood.

All scheduled gigs will be happening with personal and rented gear.

List of all individual gear will be forthcoming.

Be aware that their instruments were in there including:

Reggie's A-Bass custom made black quilted finish

Dave's Strat Vintage White (looks yellow) Budda Amps

Boss Pedals and others.

Franks Noble & Cooley Drum kit with Paiste cymbals

Camile's new Paul Reed Smith and I think vintage Les Paul

Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker head

Ed's Technics Keys and Goff/Hammond Organ with Leslie

Camile's red Chet Atkins signature acoustic electric model

and his brown Ibanez were also on the truck.

Please keep your eyes open and please politely post this to

other lists and newsgroups. If you have any info that would

help you can email me or bluzman@fishheads.net or get in

touch with the band thru their website www.radiators.org

any musician knows, its not that big of a deal for your truck to be stolen as it is to get you instruments stolen. for that, you wanna kill someone. i don't even know who radiator is, and since beardo posted it i can only imagine i would hate it, but damn, i would help them skin alive the fuckkers responsible. you just dont do that.

i would totally have expected that you would know who they were beardo, i've never been into their music, but a hippie dude like yourself, tsk, tsk. nah, they tour everywhere and have for a long time. it's supposed to be a good show; i think they're like a classic rockin' jam band from way back or something. they have their die hard regular fans everywhere.

Oh man...........

Well for those un educated in music gear.....that truck has about...

Jesus, i'd kill if this happened to me....

A-Bass= i don't know much about basses but the finish sounds expensive so you could be looking at 800-1000+ dollars...

Vintage Strat= Saying an American Deluxe strat costs about.....800 dollars........since its vintage we'll say its worth 900.....(money off for the yellow color)

Budda Amps= Unfamilar with the name brand, but........a good half stack, amp and cab cost proximately1,000-1,300+ dollars plus a cab1,000

Boss Pedals(lets just say 4)= Each,,, cost from like 60-100 each

Drum Kit= Good lord, 2,000, plus a few hundred on cymbals

Mesa/Boogie Head=1500

PRS= 1,300+ dollars

Les Paul=1,000+ $$

i don't know much about any other stuff except the Ibanez........Which is probably around 300-600 bucks.

So wiht some bad math skills, and we round up most of the prices

So those bastards who stole their shit could have about almost......12,000 bucks on their hands. Not exactly but around that area. Jesus

I'd be pissed.

and damn i can't beleive i did the math. i'm so bored
