I can’t keep up with it all. Would have been cool if someone won who has not won before. I was fortunate enough to go to the SOTY party when Arto won in 2001. I have no idea if dude's an ass off camera, and if Thrasher doesn't want to associate themselves with him. Really that's their business. I do know Thrasher filters out the elitist dickheads & skate jocks, and when they have a crew doing an event or party it's usually the coolest people around in skateboarding. PRobably why they're still so relevant after over 40 years. Definately see that Arto SOTY party being dope. Got to hang out with Tony Trujillo & Dennis Buesnits in 2003 or 4 after Tony won SOTY (Friends with Dennis's brother). They came through Colorado with a crew of people and the entire crew was fun to hang out with.
