DRUNKEN-ASSHOLE-ONER
My first board was a Hosoi Hammerhead Mini w/ Tracker B52 Trucks w/ the coper & lapper . Slimeball wheels . Bright Blue Madrid flypaper grip-tape . It was a pattern of triangles and squares . And it was awesome . I also got a Mike McGill , bright Pink with Independent Trucks 215mm and OJII Razor wheels . I decided to cut out the griptape the shape of a huge DRI logo . Didn't b-52's come out in the early 90's? As well as flypaper? ERIZENO
Fly paper was 80's for sure ... I never liked Trackers so my memory of those is minimal.
DRUNKEN-ASSHOLE-ONER
First time I saw fly paper was in like 90 or 91. Before that it was always that rough-ass rock paper shit. I guess it coulda been around before that, that's just the first time I remember seeing it.
hatetown
let me reiterate. my first REAL board was a stevie williams. before that it was strictly whatever was at wal-mart. and yea, i went to Love but just sorta rolled around and watched my cousin skate. For Placement Only
I'm pretty sure that trend started at Love Park in the early-mid 90's. It was those DGK kids that would grip their boards like that. The origional DGK, not the skate company. who knows. started more or less in 93 with hand me downs. then i finally annoyed the shit out of my mom to get me a complete. we went to this ghetto ass shop, it was more like one display case and one rack of boards inside a chinese mini-mall. It was this old chinese lady, for whatever reason was selling skate shit. No idea how she got into the business, but everyone i know went to her. i didnt know who jason carney was, or what planet earth was really about. Probably just liked the drawing. i had thunders and ocean howell 39mms. i think. Sadly i dont remember many of the boards i had since then. DRUNKEN-ASSHOLE-ONER
This was my first real board. Only it was sky blue and had the matching sky blue grip tape. With red Powell Mini-rats. That I eventually upgraded to these. And some old Indys I got off my homie that looked something like this but they where Burgundy.

CELT
Didn't b-52's come out in the early 90's? As well as flypaper? No , Tracker was founded roughly around 1975-1976 . The Dart & B52 are the two oldest trucks they make . If anyone here had them , they'd know what the coper & Lapper are , because both belonged exclusively to Tracker . Madrid flypaper has been around since 1984 .
