Chappelle's publicist, Matt Labov, declined comment. Chappelle had shot a good amount of footage for the planned third season of his show. Though the network is hopeful Chappelle will return, producers are worried the season is in jeopardy. Chappelle's behavior has become increasingly erratic. Friends and business associates say they haven't heard from him in weeks. Chappelle, 31, experienced near-overnight success, signing a record-setting deal last August worth at least $35 million for two more seasons of his show. The figure includes projected DVD sales. The first season DVD was last year's best-selling TV title.
