R E L Z
http://www.autobarndeals.com/catalog/duauspcltopc.jpg you guys see the tips on those cans?... you can adjust them and flare with em .. not too practical though.
Bert
are you kidding? those are so shitty. They are the same as a calligraphy cap, meaning a vertical line good for fill ins at best, but nonething else unless you've mastered calligraphy tips
Knim_One
well at least there is a good source for calligraphy tips so he can master them
johnneh7
you can get black and yellow calligraphy caps from 3m adhesive spray
CaptainKOOK
http://www.autobarndeals.com/catalog/duauspcltopc.jpg you guys see the tips on those cans?... you can adjust them and flare with em .. not too practical though. I use these cans for fills ONLY. The tip is calligraphy and its good for fills, but not so hot for outlines and such. Thats what I use em for. Plus they are easy to rack. Any automotive place should have them and they are not locked up. Checker, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Etc.
nbamlbballer
dupli color covers pretty good, well i know that the purple and the royal blue do.(the purple looks like FX cru/CES purple from molotow, not as strong though)
InE...HcA
does anyone know how to get the new painters touch caps off? ya cut a slit in the tube just like any fat cap and mix it into another can thats the best way to do it....

RAWoNe
i wonder if painters touch going with the valve style might reflect what other companies plan to do in the future
josefstrat@yahoo.com
you used a orange dot on rusto and got it to work? (directed at knim one)
Knim_One
yes. well, i guess it was prob a german fat. its the comfort style cap with an orange insert. no leaks or nothin.
Sick_Boy
is there any way to put NY Thins or german outlines/ any other cap onto the new painters touch?
androidx
Good luck, there's a procedure to making the caps work a few pages back, but it's hard as hell to do right, and will probably just fuck up your good cap.
InE...HcA
.....try it with montana it works well...but in reality its all in the wrist......(knim one)
nbamlbballer
I know for sure thats not an orange dot on rusto, rusto dont work for shit with any cap except a rusto fat and a ny thin/skinny. Try krylon with a pink dot or an astro or a clash cap (clash cap is an all yellow cap with a black insert) Ill try to go figure it out and ill post the pics. johnneh7
i wonder if painters touch going with the valve style might reflect what other companies plan to do in the future probably not, because kilz paint is a different valve and no one has changed like them. i still rarely see those comfort caps. NomOne
ny fats that i got, if you use cheapy cans its wise to shave down the stems on the fats, it leaks less, actually no leak almost

earl broclo ESQ
if this stupid question has been asked a thousand times, i apologize for asking it again. i just don't have time to go through the thread looking. also, i don't want to waste the threads time with a repeat question, so if someone wants to be kind enough to PM me with the answer, i'd appreciate it. question: if caps don't work with certain cans (mainly cheap paint), is there anything you can do to make them work?
nbamlbballer
YOU ASSHOLE, TRY THE SEARCH BUTTON. but I am by-polar so theres my answer I never heard of anything to help the cap system on cans. The only thing I can think of is if you transfer the paint in a good cap system like molotow or montana. At least thats what i do
earl broclo ESQ
that search button is a trick man. everytime i put in something i'm looking for --it brings up some random thread like "nebraska electrical boxes" or "fire hydrants" or "toledo." so there is nothing to help the problem then. i kind of figured that. as for switching paint, into another can --i have no clue how to do that. i'll try the search button for that, and maybe i can find the answer in "photos of dogs" or "MS Paint." by the way, sorry to hear you got fucked in the butt. slipone
^^do a search on THIS thread....not searching for threads about modifing caps.
sk8er6
you can make a stock cap about 3 cm fatter by popping out the dot, making the hole under the dot larger(i used a drill bit)and then putting the dot back in.
