n30n b0n35
Sounds difficult, i make alot of corrections :/ is it something you just get used to?
515ZomB
What I do is sketch it, outline it with marker, THEN erase the remaining visible pencil. Then fill it in.
tha whut
i rarely use a pencil i usualy on some scrap paper practice the peice or w.e im doin until i get an idea of where the lines are suppose to meet then i to my blackbook get like the lightest color and sketch with that then my fill and then my outline for me it gives u a better all around feel when i do my letters helps with usin a can also

Spawn-Of-Sham
What I do is sketch it, outline it with marker, THEN erase the remaining visible pencil. Then fill it in. Thats what i usually do. Does anybody know a good way to outline your letters with a lighter color than the fill?
Sik-TwentyFo
wass just fuckin around with the little lines in the sides of the letters. I was bored so i just did a freestyle sketch for a battle against this guy on bs, probly not gonna enter this couldnt rotate so just deal
EliAlibi
you are missing a lot of 3D.

MellowDrone
and then some, plus your top 3d effects are wayyyy smaller/shorter than your bottom 3d.
Sik-TwentyFo
thanks
Spawn-Of-Sham
Really not too happy with this one. Experimented with the fill and well you see the results. Says ving The bottom looks more like the real fill, top 3d imo.

freakeenyc
fill is solid! just the letter structures a lil weak.
Spawn-Of-Sham
Thanks. Yeah i almost never fuck with v i or g unles its in a battle. The n is my current standard n. And lmao at your signature! Haha props for that sir
freakeenyc
jhaha yea ur I and N were solid just the G that takes it down.
Sik-TwentyFo
if it says ving that extension on the v is weak, the extension on the G that goes past the letter makes it look bad but other than that its pretty solid, hope im making sense

n30n b0n35
When i paint thats how i do it, light sketch colour then fill then 3D then outline and effects and so on. Will give it a go on paper, i can imagine it makes you alot more confident with the lines not sketching in pencil. Those letters are some of the better ones i've seen from u sik, 3D has all sorts of problems. Really try and look hard over each letter to see where the 3D should be. 3D is alot harder on curved edges too cos it shouldnt quite come straight off the side of the letter, its more of a gradient if you get what i mean. Spawn-Of-Sham
Lookin good zomb. And fyi a gradient is basically a fade for people who dont know.
n30n b0n35
No pencils for this one and it wasnt so bad, glow cleaned it up a little lol. The only pencil i did use was trying to add some shadow on the right edge but that failed a little. These pens also wouldnt blend so thats why that etc etc... AYE_NONYMOUS
not really satisfied with the middle bar on the H. definitely shouldn't have put a drip there, just made it worse
AYE_NONYMOUS
i would do anything to paint frieghts but i live in ny theres non really over here that isnt heated or over run by extreme toys painting trains in NY is very risky. the yards are usually highly gaurded, depending on where in NY you live that is. im from a small city and theres too many people here trying to paint trains. 2 of the yards here, i just refuse to even step foot in cause of yard workers on 4 wheelers and shit.
