trackstand Posted April 8, 2005 Share Posted April 8, 2005 I saw Pelican play here last night, really fucking energetic. They opened with some stuff off the second album, then played March Into the Sea. Then they played some unreleased live stuff. The lead guitarist definitely had a hell of a lot of energy, had a great smile on his face when he was getting really into it. Good show for sure, I'm very glad I saw it. *edit*... Best work to date. 7 songs, ranging in 4 minutes to 15 minutes in length. Great guitar work as always, and a huge improvement in the drumming.
