try googling the error message... i did and got a bunch of results, but im not motivated enough right now to search through them for you.... seems like whatever drive you designated as your scratch disc during install doesnt have enough free space on it basically.....

edit: found this:

"while PS is loading, hold down ctrl+alt+shift (i think...it's been almost 3 years since i last worked on PS!) and you should get a prompt to select your scratch disk.

it's always a bad idea to use your OS drive as your scratch disk because the OS and PS are gonna battle for the resource"

i dont have photoshop but im guessing all you have to do is use the 'select' tool at a high magnification to select what you want to be in color/bw and then desaturate the rest. that way the colored part is how the photo/whatever would look naturally and you wont have to color it yourself.

the select tool usually looks like a lasso, but could be different in ps.

yeah that might be a way

altho the select tool is a huge bitch to use so im hoping theres another way

anyways while i wait, heres some old shit i did in PS

mix of drawn and photo alteration

i hate using PS, its toooo time consuming for most of my projects

but ive learned a lot over the years about it

as well i have a lot of bookmarked sites with tutorials and shit

im sure everyone has their own way of doing it, but i always desaturated the photo first then went back over the desired colour bits with the "art history brush"...
