First and foremost expect to get hated on the internet is quite a flourishing habitat for assholes and douche bags... I would say the best thing you can do is practice drawing items from life or images...and reading/applying knowledge from some books on basic art principles never hurts either... think of it this way, to build a good house you need a solid foundation. So, start at the bottom get your foundation going and work from there...eventually you will come into your own and begin to feel out what your personal style is going to be and how to execute it...(hopefully) Keep up the good work!
