The California governor made the comment during a rally on Saturday, claiming Democrats were delaying the budget by catering to special interests. Schwarzenegger was referring to lawmakers he says won't admit they'd prefer to represent unions and trial lawyers. He told a cheering crowd, "If they don't have the guts, I call them `girlie men.'" He lifted the term from a "Saturday Night Live" skit in which two Schwarzenegger-worshipping weightlifters mock those who don't meet their standards of physical perfection.
