Kelly LeBrock Posted September 5, 2009 Share Posted September 5, 2009 the stupid thing about the saber piece is that (as it appears from the posted images) they have only buffed the piece and left a whole lot of other graff around it. are they continuing down the entire river to eradicate every tag, throw and piece? or is this just a big target for political gain? i really dont understand the motivation behind this sort of thing. makes no sense whatsoever, particularly after all these years. are they looking to develop the area and therefore need to make it look nice for investors? they pull this sort of clean up in cities all over the world, pumping taxpayer cash into cleaning up areas laden with graffiti that no one really minds if its there or not. in fact many cases (like this piece) have been embraced by community and gone on to enhance an area or inspire more creativity. but again the politician knows best and knows exactly what you should be seeing, especially in those areas that you never go to.... He obviously caught the eye of someone high in your cities state department. Msk shouldn't go bigger Saber should some how out do himself.
