Decyferon Posted September 18, 2018 Share Posted September 18, 2018 I just find it so hard to get into anything that Nike or Adidas drop. 100% don't understand the hype behind the mars yard, I get he is a designer but they look like some karrimor climbing shoes or some shit. Real disillusioned with the sneaker scene, just a bunch of hype shit being dropped. The Afew x Kangaroos release was a beauty though. Its a Nike Field Boot sole with a lifestyle upper, pulltabs and fleece innards. Not hard to see why they are unique and lusted after. Also, the classic Tom Sachs/NASA colors and was co designed by ACTUAL rocket scientists to wear in their aerospace labs. Beats a run of the mill jogger any day. I'd have designed them differently myself as they're for Oktoberfest so would have Made the blue more like the Bavarian blue, but i see the lederhosen influences. Sometimes I’ll rock Stan Ray’s or dickies (blacked out ofc) for bottoms and throw on a black hoody or my black Patagonia jacket if it’s real cold out . I usually stick with simple monochrome fits , don’t really wear logo tees unless they’re clean and minimalistic or a homies brand . Just gotta let the kicks be the crux of your fit and they are an awesome look . Definitely the wildest shoe I have but I love it so much ! Made up my mind on the J1’s - gonna cop the Shadow’s .
