sammysnyderz 0
You guys are right (in the gear ratio dept). I've been riding in a lower gear and still, spinning out takes a while and it's really only when I'm going down a steep hill. Going over the bridge I felt like my cadence was a lot better. I'm not sure why, it just felt steadier and it still took some effort, but smoother.

I get into some weird shit when it comes to music, but Phish is certainly not on the playlist. Cinnamon... Call me when you get into town. Maybe I'll swing by the race after work to cheer on your pops!... and my team mate who is doing really well this season (same category as your dad)

Joker 1,071
Watched our very own Cinnamon Toast Crunch in action today at Nationals. Incredible job! The soup was thick and he held it for eigth place!! Against some very tough competiton as I found out during the race. A web clap for Mr. Cinnamon!! I have photos but can't load them due to sizing restrictions... I have no idea how everyone else posts large images. Congrats once again Cinnamon!!

SteveAustin 2
farmer...what do you want for it. I know some people that actually like aluminum bikes. I rode a waltworks 29er this weekend. Pretty sweet. I think I'm about to sell some...maybe even all of my 26" bikes. gotta love the big wheels.
XMartyrX 0
I'm thinking about road racing next season for the first time and if I rocked just a straight steel frame would that put me at a significant disadvantage right off the bat? Anybody have any thoughts on those steel/carbon Lemond whips? I'll take any advice.
SteveAustin 2
It won't make a bit of difference. I know guys racing Cat 1 on steel bikes. If you're that concerned about the weight, lose it in other ways...ie fat.
