Amsterdam Zuid is good for spotting cos there's two metro lines and a banana line thru it. There seem to be lots of panels running on bananas at the moment, not many on the subs but the insides are still rinsed!

Actually it might be the next one up the line from there, can't remember. Loco, i think you're thinking of Van Den Madeveg, if that's how it's spelt.

Cheers for that,it is Van der Madeveg..oh and the rebok looks like Rotterdam, but it does look too crisp

re-berlin

found our hotel on google earth, and luckily, theres a huge yard just down the road with the yellow (ubahn?) trains in it.

This circle line you were on about, is that the one with the red train? from what ive earthed, it looks like were right next to the south of that line.

cheers

are commuter, intercity, long distance, regional. trains interchangable terms?? commuters here are trains that go to suburbs (not just around the inner city like our subway).. but commuters in uk go all over the country.. are there trains in europe that just travel around one cities suburbs like here? ans are called comuters

generaly, as people go on them

the term 'commuter' is a person who 'commutes' (travels) to work in the city or town, from outside, maybe from the burbs, so therefore cars coming into the city in the morning are generaly commuters, same with bikes, or buses, and generaly trains are thought of as means to get to work, therefore commuters,

although we dont have a tube/subway so im not the one to ask on that, there usually just called subway trains, as you dont get freights in the subway so dont need to define the difference.

Peace

Nah commuters just stick to a certain area; like around London, or around Manchester or around Bristol or around the Midlands. The trains that go up and down the country are intercity trains.
