Her suicide note:

I don't want anyone in or out of my family to see any part of me. Could you destroy my body by cremation? I beg of you and my family – don't have any service for me or remembrance for me. My fiance asked me to marry him in June. I don't think I would make a good wife for anybody. He is much better off without me. Tell my father, I have too many of my mother's tendencies.

Her mother had depression, sad story of being doomed by birth.

That was a mosquito hawk, not a mosquito. Those eat mosquitoes and are your friend, accordingly.

Crane flies..... and they don't eat mosquitos at all.

Dragon flies and mosquito fish are probably the two most common predators of mosquitos.

I've legit seen mosquitos as big as the one @ndvposted in Texas.... especially around marshy/swampy areas.

We also have these wonderful flies called horseflies.  They are extremely fast and accurate with their flying.  Their biting feels like a needle poke and it happens VERY quickly after they land on you.

In any case, just wanted to help you know that "mosquito hawks" don't actually do anything to mosquitos.
