dear dear Theo, if anyone knows it's you that there's no such thing as teberculosis. You must be referring to tuberculosis. I'm disappointed in you.

Happy Communist Day

Did you know that the Communists hi-jacked May 1st from the anarchists? True. May Day was chosen as International Workers Day because of it's proximity to the anniversary of the Haymarket Riot in Chicago (uh, lemme see--1886? I think so) after which the Haymarket Martyrs (all seven were anarchist orators and agitators) were arrested, subsequently tried and six were hanged for causing the riot. (The seventh killed himself in jail by "biting down on a blasting cap." Uh huh. Right.) Of course, in reality, the riot was caused by the Chicago police, and some eyewitnesses said that the explosion that occurred among the police ranks was a machiavellian plot by the Powers That Be to villify and destroy the anarchist movement. Others said that someone among the anarchist crowd threw a bomb at the police.

Whatever. Anyway, the commies highjacked May Day for themselves. The Haymarket Martyrs would be SO PISSED to know that.

Okay. To celebrate May Day, everybody go out and hit up a bunch of those "circle A" symbols, then come back home and read a chapter of Bakunin before bed. Okay?
