NightmareOnElmStreet
I’m ocd so all my shit has to match. Been collecting dewalt gear for a while now. Mostly only use the drills but I have a few others I don’t even know how to use
mr.yuck
I have a bag full of DeWalt dead soldiers too. From chucks that are stripped and just spin to motors that caught on fire while I was drilling. I wonder if I could get a consumer report type job for tools…
Mercer
Only rock Makita hail Nippon. Had a Makita drill I abused installing vinyl siding, windows etc. then left in storage for years. Found it moving one day an it was still charged and worked flawlessly. Since then I’m sure I’ve dumped 10k or more on all matching Makita and a motherload of the 18v batteries. 1
mr.yuck
@nicklesndimesthats the way you want your tools to look. Also good if they weigh a ton. My uncle had this chop saw. Not sure the brand, it had worn off years before. We were driving down the road one day and the back of his van popped open and the saw fell out the back and bounced down the highway several hundred feet. It only bent a little bit and he straightened that son of a bitch back out by hitting it with a hammer. That 150 lb piece of shit is still in action to this day. Hah. 1 1
