Secret Posted September 9, 2001 Share Posted September 9, 2001 I'm really sorry to hear about your dog. I grew up with a doberman pincher. He ran away. Then I got a couple of pugs (7 to be exact). One of my dad's friends kept one over the weekend and it got ran over by a car. Of course, he was never allowed back at my house without me throwing rocks, mud, and dirt at him. I hate him and I hate him till this day. Last year I had a puppy for ONLY a month, and I cried for a really long time when they gave him away. I get more attached to dogs then I do to people. We recently had to put my childhood dog to sleep because she had arthritis really bad, plus she was deaf, going blind, and senile. It was sad, but it was just her time. Just be thankful you had him as long as you did... Secret, pugs are the absolute best dogs in the world. As soon as I get my new place I'm getting one. I had a pet turtle for 8 years and he died a little over a year ago. RIP asshole...yes his name was asshole. Lately I have been really bummed out and someone made the suggestion of needing to get a dog or cat. I prefer a cat but I live with my fam still and my sister is really allergic. So I am springing for a bulldog. I need something to replace girls. That sucks though dude about your dog dying. I'm sory I got really off subject and went into a wild rant in your topic where you were asking for a little comfort and solace. Are you allowed to keep pets in your 'new' place? Or maybe get your parents another dog.. I've never had a dog die, but on several occasions we had to leave them on account of leaving the country. T.T Boy Posted September 11, 2001 Share Posted September 11, 2001 r.i.p charlie. ive recently had a loss in the pet world myself (r.i.p sir oner). dogs really are great. i miss my alaskan malimute, i had to give him to a ranch, it wasnt right to keep a half malamute half wolf at my house in a small yard. it just wasnt right. anyways, geta new dog and enjoy it. they really are mans best friend. maskoner Posted September 15, 2001 Author Share Posted September 15, 2001 yeah, dister, i was wondering where you were at on this post. thanks for the bumps. pets are so awesome. yesterday, i was sitting through a discussion, and this girl is all, "i hate pets. cats/dogs whatever... i hate them." and hse has this long island accent and is all "i am not about open mindedness" and is a total ass... she puts up this hardcore front, and just has no love for the animals... anyways, class is almost over and we're all still talking and she JUMPS UP! yelling, "oh my God there is a spider..." haha, go back to long island you fake bitch...
