Angrysamoan
It is disturbing, but falwell isn't even a real threat, hardly anyone takes him seriously. And as for the people that do take him seriously, no one takes them seriously. hehe. The utter stupidity of his comments are hilarious.

Pistol
I think he's probably just trying to use scare tactics to get people involved with his organization or churches. By making people think about joining. I remember when this guy led a "crusade" to stop rap music and porn from being made as it was "corrupting" America. More than you know- many terrorists like bin Laden are part of a fanatical Islamic group hell-bent against their idea of capitalistic idolatry and oppresion- embodied in our very expensive, very demolished WTC. To them, this is very much a "holy war." For a century after it's conception, Islamic religion, and it's once great empire was prophesized to supercede Christianity and Judaism (ironically Muhammad regarded the Bible as inspired by God- just not as up-to date as the Koran) and become a world religion. These particular Muslims (NOT including the majority of the Islamic faith) are interested in restoring the Caliphate- the system by which Islam was governed. Pistol
Pat Robertson was on FoxSportsNews today. They asked him what was up with Falwell's comments. He was like "Uh I believe they were taken 'out of context'". He also said that he predicted this months ago. Saying it is because we have not asked for God in our lives. When people ask "how could God let this happen?" that was his explanation because homosexuals, pagans, the government does not accept Jesus Christ. He said that people need to join his ministrt as well. Sound like Falwell and Robertson are using this tragic incident to fuel scare tactics to get more members in their churches. They seem not to care about the tragedy itself as much as they are with their own personal agendas. Way to go Falwell and Robertson. TRUE
This might be irrelevant cause I didn't read the link but.... I think it's funny how when somthing really bad happens christians make up bullshit such as: "god is just testing our will" or "the lord works in mysterious ways"... yeah he sure does... People just think what they want to believe I don't know... I'm drunk so don't listen to me
