Guest Mr.Raven Posted September 15, 2001 Share Posted September 15, 2001 Dont know about you guys, but it's sounding awfully fishy that they caught eight people and publically disclosed all sorts of details including fake employee ID's, Pilot license from the same school in FL, knives hidden on carry on luggage, tickets originally scheduled for the 11th, two seperate groups consisting of exactly four related members, as well as eye witness accounts that there was violent reaction from the 'suspects' when they were confronted. Now they say it was a huge mistake and all 'suspects' were released. Amazing how they had enough intellegence to have raided a plane to pull these 'suspects' off, and in a second incident caught a group headed by a person claiming to be a pilot (which he is not), and volunteering to help the flight crew since they were shorthanded (despite the fact that he doesnt work for the airline) and yet now he's supposedly been released cause it was a giant 'misunderstanding'. I'm guessing the news began throwing the country into a shitstorm and this is a coverup thats intended to return some sence of stability and calm to an already volatile atmosphere. seeking Posted September 15, 2001 Share Posted September 15, 2001 so they let 8 go, and arrested 1? so they're claiming that 9 people lying, carrying weapons and acting suspicious, but only 1 of those 9 was doing something wrong? id be more likely to admit that the media put a pretty big spin on the whole thing and embelished excessivly...
