Sarah Tonin
user tends to spin dnb from time to time. no techstep mostly liquid funk like marcus intalex, london elektricity,nu:tone, high contrast,invaderz,d-kay,stress level&tc1,calibre,artificial intelligence, danny c,influx datum, sonic and silver(accidental heroes) and such dillinja(capone, trinity, cybotron) is the shit too. basslines like no other check out vibeflow.com for billions of dnb live sets.also breakbeat.co.uk

rinse
d&b nation. yea i'm feelin' it. except the d&b scene took a bad turn when every dj decided they need an mc to tour with. dont get me wrong, i appriciate some jaw-gymnastics hip-hop style but d&b mc's just cant bring it. not only do they all seem to spit some repeditive one-liners... but the typical d&b mc is all like :mad2:, they also rhyme over vocals in the dj's records, and never knowing when to shut up and let the dj get gritty...REEEEWIND! worth while producers: dom&roland ez rollers bad company loxy tech itch alex reece ltj bukem ed rush omni trio optical usual suspects shogun dj's that can kill it: hive nicky blackmarket odi teebee freaky flow

Daddy Screw
teebee is one of my fave producers, )EI3( (bad co) as well, total science, but theres a new producer called Evol Intent from Atlanta. He produces some of the darkest shit i've ever heard in my life ever. i think u can find some of his sets @ www.dogsonacid.com. he made a song called 'corrupt cops and crack rocks' which samples inspektah deck on that C.R.E.A.M tune. Also Raiden is fucking dark. the new generation of producers are just too sick. DnB is the new hip hop.
gfreshsushi
i always enjoyed dnb the most out of any of the rooms i was in when i used to go to raves. but then again, i was on a lot of drugs, so who knows what my judgement was like. Daddy Screw
panacea is talented producer,,,does he still produce the proper sick dnb or has he toned it down a bit? I had some radio show set of his where he was being interviewed, i was quite shocked to hear how camp he sounded. you wouldn't be able to tell just listening to his music.not that gays bother me or anything...i don't even think he's gay you know, cos he was talking about 'my girlfriend ...etc'. Guest imported_El Mamerro
Yeah, Panacea definitely doesn't have the manliest voice in the world, but I wouldn't say it to his face. As for the sound, I'd say it's toned down, but definitely still dark. Now he's more into danceable dn'b than tech-stuff, sounds more like )E|3(. That's as far as his Panacea identity is concerned... he still produces some majorly noisy shit under the alias Rich Kid and a dozen other names. I like the turn his music has taken, "Chartbreaka" off his last album is still my favorite drum n' bass tune ever. If I ever make a movie, that song is gonna open it... and the scene is going to have super hot bitches doing lines off each other's tits, bboys doing airflares 7 feet off the air in slomo, and muscle cars. It will be the single most amazing moment in the history of cinema.
Guest
grrrr.... I was on the subway on Sunday and there were these really annoying 'jungle kids' playing that 'ready or not' remix on a boombox. These kids had to be like 17 and were talking about how much better 'the old school' was over the newer stuff. I'm sitting there rolling my eyes when one little girlie says "Dj Hype invented drum and bass" I wanted to walk over and kick in the speakers. I wasnt even going to mention Grooverider and Fabio to these kids. Let them stay in the dark untill they move on to RNB or whatever. All this was after seing Ronisize, KennyKen and Dj Craze the night before. Ronisize played all new shit that was so damn good. KennyKen is one of my all time favorites, so no problems there. Craze got a little too scratchy (I know that's his thing) for a 'dancing party'.

Weapon X
Haha, Kilo, I’m not particularly into dnb (just a few of my friends are), but even I would give those kids a good, blatant, eye-rolling. Dieselboy – Invid Invasion is cool because it’s got to do with Robotech. All I know is that I like the grimy, dark stuff.
