Sounds impossible i know, i've been smoking since i was 14 and i'm almost 27 now, all that time it NEVER crossed my mind to quit nor did i ever try it.

However, i kinda felt smoking as an enemy lately..die enemy, die.

yeah man... good luck with it.

I always tell myself that I don't need any handicaps,

and smoking is starting to feel like a handicap. No time for it.

same kind of timeline too, started around 14, almost 27.

Took a few breaks on smoking for a few months at a time,

but I just dont want to be one of those old smokers.

You know when you seem some old guy and you just know he's a smoker?

Or when you see some old woman who looks like a pack a day woman?

I know that I dont want to be that guy or be with that woman in 30 years.

* eidt: typos like crazy lately.

I feel ya, well fuck getting old, i'm young and i really feel old now because of smoking, cant run, cant breathe well, my ability to smell is reduced and on top of that i pay 5.80 euros daily to bring all the joy to my self..fuck it, i learned to love smoking but i wanna keep on without it if i can.

first motivational thread of twenty-oh-six

I find drinking doesn't make me want to smoke,

which is good consider the shamefull ammount of rum I consume,

but it's the rare things that make me crave a smoke. backstory:

This might not be common knoledge, but the sence of smell

is way more involved with triggering memories than we think.

Simple things like fresh cut grass or baking can cause a full on

memory flashback. Well yesterday I was walking behind some

trashy girl who was smoking and it flashed me back to the 4th grade.

Right back to that first pack of camels. ungh.

fuck... I'm not thinking about it anymore

i smoked a cigarette today. i was smoking some herb at work, and got really fucked up. i've always used cigarettes to bring down my high, so i bumbed one off of a co-worker. i feel bad for smoking it, and decided i won't take another drag again...no matter how stoned. bubbleberry's a killer.

so 8 days, 1 cigarette (to save my sanity at work), 0 cheating drags...not bad

edit

i think a big part of quiting is to understand why you fucked up, and to not let it distract you from quiting, but to learn from it(so it doesn't happen again)...
