I was wondering if anyone else has spotted these and where at? I'm sure they were on a line headed to Minneap. but from there i'm not sure if they stay on with bnsf to chicago or with cp out to the northwest? anyone have a clue? thanks. TURBO DOG Posted February 18, 2004 Share Posted February 18, 2004 hell yes i think i actually have hit one of these out here in the southeast at this all hopper lay up that get like 2 or 3 different kids of hoppers but all of the sudden this bad boy was just there one day!!! i will see if i got flicks! xwibxonex Posted February 18, 2004 Share Posted February 18, 2004 i've hit the clean creamy grey bentonite ones that were pooled with them, but i didn't notice the verasun until recently, but i'm glad they were spotted somewhere other than the midwest, im gonna be doing some serious crushage on these when it warms up. type R Posted February 18, 2004 Share Posted February 18, 2004 i'm from the east coast, but whatever... you were def. right when you said you thought they were going to minneapolis, they are also being sent to california. DM&E takes the cars to CSX in chicago and to BNSF in South Dakota and Minnesota. They also have plans to send the ethanol as far as Albany, NY., if they havent already. hope that helped. xwibxonex Posted March 15, 2004 Share Posted March 15, 2004 I didn't take the photo homeboy, got it off the verasun energy site, i could easily drive up there and visit it, but we get a steady amount coming through my yards.... i've only done hollows on them actually :( they're a bit high off the ground if you're my height. thinking of taking a step stool and some shit next time, too hard to peice them suckers.
