What bothered me (and presumably others as well) was that the ripping off of the bodice had the effect of simulating sexual violence. You may think I'm looking too deeply into the act, but Janet's response (although faked) reinforces that idea. He turns, rips off a piece of her bra, and she acts surprised and attempts to cover herself up. It's another thing altogether if she does it to herself or appears to acquiesce.
