Its cool blunketts dog. ;) (sounds weird saying that)

Anyway just to let a few of you know, few fliks added tonight, ignore the bit about the new email account. I eventually managed to get back on the old one after hours of trying different passwords. I thought i had lost a few hundred fliks there, but its all good.

to be honest it all confuses me a bit anyway!! The bill have fuck off great files on writers anyway they dont need big sheets of plastic to do it when they've got cameras! I dont really understand what the difference is??????

the difference is that the piece wouldnt actually be on the train, there not realistically gonna cut the plastic everytime something gets done and keep it are they?? imagine how many pannels get done in lndon over the space of a week, the point of it is so that it can be cleaned easier

What's the confusion about? As Stringfellow says it is all just to making buffing quicker and easier. However it does seem as though they now know they can't stop graf so they may as well make it easier to clean rather than try to stop it.

mate if a trains protected by a sheet of plastic why tha fuck they gonna care if u graff on it if they can jus peel it off quik tings? besides wldnt it be cheaper jus to clean the graff off instead of cover a whole load of trains in plastic then replacin it everytime it gets damaged?

sounds like bollocks to me, but then again btp r muppets so ya never know.

Article about it in one of the Garage Magazines (now available in Borders) apparently it adds an extra 15 minutes in yards taking off the plastic sheet and you have to take it with you after you're done as finger prints show up on it perfectly....

alot of trains around the globe have a plastic coating on them. its just means the train can be buffed easily with a power washer. the trains here have the same anti graffiti coating.... panels will run, its just easy to clean off. italy has had the same plastic layers/stickers on them for years. you can either peel it off or just paint over it. i was actually surprised london didnt have this thing earlier. the only difference is that your painting a big sticker, instead of the steel part of the train. no big deal, panels will just not run as long.... if they have the time to pull them out of service to clean them.

Stolen from July 2005 issue of The Railway Magazine....The TOC (Central Trains) has offered a £1000 reward for information leadig to the arrest of vandals who carried out a graffiti attack on 2 DMUs stabled at Leicester on a weekend in April.

The level of graffiti was so bad that 2 class 170s were taken out of service for 2 days for specialist cleaning that cost Central Trains £30,000 and a £300,000 loss of revenue.Central says that graffiti attacks in Leicester are a growing problem.

What if you peel up the sticker, paint, then stick it back down again...

The fools will never figure that one out and your shit will run for weeks!
