yomommasaho Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 ^^^ these are pretty cool, showing some skills, but i think 1 thing is keeping these from really reaching your potential: clean it up. there's too much marker stroke throughout every piece, and some of them could use some richer colors that provide more contrast and also a wider range of color values. I hope you take this as constructive criticism, which is what it is. but in the interset of not making this sound like im just raggin, on your work, i have some praises to sing: i like the characters, most of the color schemes, your extensions and arrows and the 3d is lookin sharp abroad. keep it up, i'd like to see more.. yomommasaho Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 dont get me wrong, you actually did a decent job with what you were working with, give watercolor try if you've never done it before, it's amazing the blends you can do in the fill, then you just outline and do details with prismas or whatever else.
