Is it just me, or is that 3d all over?

 

But, nonetheless, dope. I saw your shit from like a year ago, so much progression.

 

 

Yea like i just felt the flow of the letters suited that 3d, i was just trying shit out i think it works but id like opinions, peace.

Nah... that's something new I'm trying. I'm working to make my stuff more organic and with a touch of classical calligraphy. Every time I start a new sketchbook I feel like I step up my game a tiny bit. Still not happy with my handies, though.

I gotta say, I don't like your computerized shiznits as much as the straight up marker pieces, which are dope.

I appreciate it good sirs. Yes the skeleton is water color then I add the distortions,the fills are part marker/water color, then details are bic. And honestly I prefer the nonsymmetrical pieces too, but once you do symmetry for awhile it's hard to break away

what up guys, good to see the old timers still doing there thing. first sketch in a while haven't been doing much of anything with letters but got sometime over the break so hopefully it wont be the last lol

 

The center image is a study of Pauline Eleanore de Galard de Brassac de Bearn, Princesse de Broglie by Ingres. for some reason in the pic her right eye looks too dark, not sure what thats about.
