acanz 1
Do those bottles have a big red flammable label on the side? If so... I approve! Industrial inks are the way to go. Yep =) Industrial marking inks are where its at, real good ink and cheap as hell.
acanz 1
would adding oil based wood finish/stain to this http://dykem.com/ProductFamily.cfm?familyID=449bcc1f-f8c3-44a8-9d5b-e4c19920c109&searchType=product make it stain harder? Layout fluids dont stain, they can be taken off from metal with lacquer thinner. I had steel red, and it came right off with a rag and thinner. Get Dykem steel dye, they actually stain the surfaces pretty good.
DE?! 0
well i racked like 3 bottles of it, i dont really want it to go to waste is there anything i can add to it to make it better =/
acanz 1
Empty them out and refill them with good ink because they make nice mops if you got the 2oz ones haha Where did you find them at? I bought a 2oz online and when I realized it sucked I refilled it with the steel dye I bought at the same time.
DE?! 0
i got it from a school, they had like 20 bottles of blue and red i just took three reds, there not the 2oz bottles though, there the ones with the brush in it
acanz 1
You might as well use it on some painted surfaces, it should do alright on there. On porous surfaces its not bad, but on metal it doesnt ghost if thats what your looking for.

SerialSkiller 44
oh i totally forgot about those inks...they looks so dope...what are the small white bottles at the back? and what do you think of the Marsh marker?
acanz 1
The small ones are like dalos but you squeeze them for flow instead of pumping them, I only tried the green which is like puke green and the blue which is baby blue so there pretty nice. The Marsh marker looks pretty sick, I havent filled it up yet but the nibs look hot I cant wait to start using it.
thebrownbomber 1
parker quink is supposedly alcohol based, it was designed that way a long long time ago to improve drying time. However, it is far from waterproof or permanent, and in fact if you get it wet, i think it splits into two colors. I wouldn't mess with it.

Skag 15
Parker Quink is alchohol based fountain pen ink. I have a bottle somewhere and I haven't used it. Its permanent (so says the bottle) so I assume its relatively easy to buff but should be sweet in a pilot for quick refills.
DE?! 0
yea i tried it in my house and it pretty much sucked.. is there anything i can add to it to make it more permanent... or could i evaporate the ink and add the powder to another ink
heirkb 2
you can probly put some ballpoint pens in it and do the ballpoint recipe using that as a substitute for at least some of the rubbing alcohol...im too dumb to tell you anything else cause im not into all those stainers and shit like meth blue and gentian violet...
JakeBaumer44 0
i could be wrong but just use it to as a pigment for some other hard staining ink you have. If u got purple or some other color ink u want to be black, add that shit. It will also make it more opaque.
