Are they any good? do they worth their money? Now, can anyone explain what 1.7x really means? My guess is that on a 5x optical zoom camera you can reach up to 8,5x does that sound correct? seeking Posted November 19, 2003 Share Posted November 19, 2003 ive got a screw on wide angle, and tele-photo. mine retailed for about 100 each, but i know you can find alot cheaper, just as decent ones. anyway, 9/10th's of every photo i take is with the wide angle on it. best money you can spend. go for it.
