I was there!

97 E-center.

1st record that was MINE: Run-DMC. Me and all the other kids in my first grade class were always trying to break, so my parents brought it home one day from Sam's.

1st record that I BOUGHT: (hopes nobody is listening) Pump up the jam - Technotronic

1st Concert I went to because I wanted to: MC Hammer, at saskatchewan place during the first tour.

my parents were hippies so i always got dragged to see those concerts...grateful dead/santana/jon fogerty...shit like that.

the first one on my own was tilt, afi (before there first album was out) and apartment 213 at gilman street.it was like april 1995 and wasn't crowded at all.that show seriously changed my life.

my first record was nirvana "bleach" and primus "suck on this".i got them at the same time.

my frist album was a gift from my cousin, it was The Offspring - Smash

I was kind of a late bloomer when it came to live shows, when I was 13 I went to see Phish with my friend and his mom, returned with just enough braincells not to qualify for the special olympics or some shit...

best show though, probably the Hip Hop Peace & Unity festival in Beantown this summer, I know some of you heads went to that... hours upon hours of free hip hop, can't beat that!

First Album: Iron Maiden-The number of the beast, 88 or something

First Show: I think it was the ramones on 90'

hmmm....i think the first album was simon and garfunkel live from central park....

first concert with dad, beach boys/moody blues

first by myself....steve miller band....

first record/album - either Duran Duran Rio or the first Karate kid soundtrack. ahahaha

first concert - Jimmy buffet with my parents then the lemonheads with my baby sitter. then the HFestival i think.

first concert: Grateful Dead w/friends parents 1989

first concert on my own: Sick of it All 1992

first album: Electric Breakdance (compilation tape) 1983 or 84

mad young'ns here

first cd:ugly kid joe-americas least wanted(from columbia house)

first concert:aerosmith with collective soul

first concert without parents:metallica with corrosion of conformity

I dubbed my first tape: A Side - Beastie Boys= Liscense to Ill, B Side - Run-DMC = Raisin' Hell

1st bought tape: Salt n' Pepa (the one with the "the Show" bite)

1st concert: The Cult w/ Bonham opening

i think the first tape i actually purchased was offspring bad habit..

first concert.... i think smashing pumpkins

first record.... Michael Jackson Thriller.

First concert? Hmmm, that's a harder one. I saw some dumb ones when I was real young, but the first one that I REALLY remember and will never forget was Motley Crue in 7th grade!

first tapes- van halen 1984 and the police syncronicity(i was 6 years old when i bought these) and I still have them.

first concert-NIN,Pop Will Eat Itself, and The Jim Rose Freak Show...

It was great seeing the legend himself up there on stage. i'll never forget that show. the ticket stub is locked away safely. that's also the same show where i fell in love with L7 (their music that is...they're pretty funky actually.)

I meant the suicidal tendencies show, but the Nirvana show must of been amazing also. one show I wish I saw was Jane's addiction in their prime.

Lol, I figured you were talking about the megadeth show, too. I laughed so hard at this miscommunication for some reason.

"one show I wish I saw was Jane's addiction in their prime."

I was lucky enough to see them during the first lollapalooza (sp?). was that their last tour before they broke up? still got the concert shirt with the fractals tucked away in my 'rents house.

Another show that I thank god for seeing is BAD BRAINS (w/ H.R.) in a dance/ gay club in DC. they played all the hitz.

def leppard : pyromania and quiet riot : metal health -this was back when i was flossing tube socks to my knees, pumas with fat laces and a walkman the size of a toaster.

edit for quiet riot

i'd give a pinky and a family member to see badbrains in their non-metal prime. at the movies, regulator, banned in dc, pay to cum...

they let a brother down when they played with the cromags at irving plaza a couple of years ago.

my first tape was slayer reign in blood and my first cd was either TOOL undertow or or warren g. im not sure which i got first but all three were givin to me by my brother.

my first concert was naughty by nature, m c hamer, and salt n pepa.
