so, do you like where you live? or are you just there untill something better happens?

personally, i live about 10minutes outside of a major shopping town in one of the london boroughs. it takes about 20mins to get to central london by train from my yard, there is a major hospital, nice scenery and a fuck load of shops / bars / clubs / restaurants etc. plus its big enough that you dont see all the same faces while still being small enough that you shouldnt really get lost (unless your a mug).

i love living where i do, but having said that i cant wait to get the fuck away from here when its uni time...

I live within 5 minutes of two hospitals.

I live within 25 minutes of two bigger hospitals (MLK & USC).

I live within an hour of LAX , Ontario, John Wayne (Orange County), and Long Beach airports.

I live within 30 minutes of Downtown Los Angeles. (Staples Center, LA Convention Center, Dodger Stadium, Chinatown, Olvera Street, Union Station etc.

I live 20 minutes from Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.

I live about an hour and some change from Magic Mountain or Universal Studios.

I live less than a mile from the freeway. Including 5 freeway.

I live where I can travel about an hour and some change and be in the desert or a couple of different mountain or beach spots depending on what kind of getaway I want.

I live with 2-3 hours from Vegas. And and hour and a half from a few different Indian Casinos.

I live within 2 hours from the Mexican border.

I live 15 minutes from a strip where there's about 15+ strip joints all for my choosing.

I live about a mile and a half from the closest strip joint.

Yeah I love it!

my city is extremely depressing but its slowly coming around for the superbowl in 06'. im pretty much downtown so that kicks ass. one thing i wish would change is the dam weather.. michigan weather sucks biiiiiiigg ass. im content for right now, but i think SoCal or NoCal is calling my name after i get through undergrad. The weather is fantastic in SoCal but the scenery up North is so beautiful. im inheriting a large sum of money here in a few years so i want to invest in some type of business. i might just take the easy way out and sell myself into starubucks.. thats a quick cash getter..

My city is in the top 5 of

safest cities in the world to live in.

I like my neighborhood, but

I live in the ghetto. Ive always

lived in a ghetto. It would be nice

to have a change of scene.

Leave it to Beaver steelo.

toronto is an awesome place to live. always things to do, amazing graff scene, a standard of living i take for granted . but as with everything there are bad things about it. the 'scenery' is depressing as fuck, and ive watched the smog in the air thicken until you can taste it since i was a kid.

I can hang with rockstars a block from my pad.

I can get anything delivered at any time of day.

Yes I mean anything!

I'm a quick bike ride to the lake.

I'm a few blocks from one of the top semi-legal lanes.

People come from out of town to bomb my area.

I'm right on the edge of old world funk and gentrified yuppie girls.

but here's the clincer...

Do you live work and play in the same area?

That's the key!

I fuckin love it...

Besides that, i think the biggest conclusion of this thread is that anyone that lives in a big city and lives downtown likes it.

Exeptions apply only to real exotic residents.

I'm not a big fan of the city I live in. I do however like where I live in that city. I'm really close to most everything. Cool bars, restaurants, sites, downtown etc. I live in a kick ass neighborhood, with an extremely affordable mortgage in a neighborhood that is increasing in value at a nearly alarming rate.

i love where i live. it's dope living in the city centre. no matter where you go, all roads lead home. it's close to everything i need. i'm right near a train station and tram stops, and can walk or skate everywhere i need to go. the weather is starting to get real good, and i've missed 3 summers here so i'm really looking forward to it
