steamed hams, baked clams

When you buy a ham at the store, it is completely covered with ham-skin. How does the ham factory do that ?

Mayby the ham is like bread. When it is cooked by them it forms a cust all the way around. Just like bread has crust all the way around. Cause all that ham is precooked.

ham is actually a very complicated product.. there are various degrees of ham.. ham.. ham with water added, ham in water, country ham, and a couple others.. they all reflect the amount of pure ham in it... country hams, you have to soak for 3 days before you can cook em.

Then there is the most complicated meat ever....Vienne sausages. Beef chicken and pork in one meat stick packed into slime. Mmmmm....vienne sausages.

that ham skin is the best part as far as i am concerned, especially when it is over cooked.

 

and yeah where do the clams fit in??

 

baked clams rock.

try breakfast in greece....it's like, all the food you're familiar with but....different. Instead of sausage...you get kini hot dogs (yum) and i couldn't get O.J. w/out pulp in it to save my life.

I don't know about the kind your talking about (in a jar) but at the Polish Deli you can get it in slices and make sandwiches. Looks like cubes of meat in quivering geletin. :spent:

shit, they take skin and inject the skin with ham, thats how, they put a bonding agent to make it look whole, its all gross and disgusting bullshit, read fast food nation and the jungle, explains lots of mess. Or just be vegetarian like me, its rocks
