seeking Posted December 16, 2003 Share Posted December 16, 2003 the humor in that joke was in the parallel, not in beating a dead...umm...kangaroo. ;) america is a country of 'cowboys', or so we're often perceived by the world at large. cowboy's ride horses (ponies). our first mail service was called the 'pony express' because...you got it, delivered by horse back. see, it's all so hysterical now, huh?.
