Guest beardo Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 Subject: Abusing the Handicap To: President George Bush October 1, 2003 I became handicapped some years back. i lost my left leg above the knee and have been told over and over that i'm not able to receive any help. I know of people who are hooked on drugs or alcohol that receive help. I also know of people who are supposed to be too fat to work that get help. Yet, here i am missing a leg and i keep getting turned down for any kind of help. I've already tried almost every agency that is in the book, and the only thing i get from them is a headache. So, i thought i'd come here and see if there are any plans in the near future to help the people who need it or are we still going to help the ones who don't need it?
