ok im catching these boxcars with brand new paint schemes. all repainted this year, and numbered 405 00 and up. ive seen one with a giant logo that said Montreal Maine and Atlantic RR. i would like to know if anyone else is catching them. i cant go in the yard that has them, but i can drive by it. i have seen one so for with a piece on each panel. i also caught one rollin by with the dopest streak i have ever seen in the left corner. had to be a month old... I seem them fairly often....there's no way they're scrapping new repaints, think about it.

I have some nice railfan shots of them, I'l' see what I can dig up

San Luis Central, I think. The new owner of the Montreal, Maine and Atlantic RR also owns SLC, so I think a bunch of SLCs got repainted and sent to MMA territory, rather than MMA having to buy/lease new cars. Very attractive gloss burgundy finish on those.
