Damn... 3 months? Shit starts falling apart over here if there's no rain in that long. It's been raining like crazy for the past 2 weeks, and a Category 4 (160+ mph winds) hurricane almost hit us. Thankfully I spent a sunny weekend on a smaller island with no mountains, so the clouds breezed right past and congregated on the main island and creamed it.

Huh? Shiet, it seems to work fine for me... here's the opening paragraph then:

Puerto Rico Eliminates Canada 79-66

By CHRIS SHERIDAN

AP Basketball Writer

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP)--Puerto Rico's basketball team is going to the Athens Olympics thanks to a pair of big men who dominated inside and a young point guard who stifled Steve Nash...

I'll spare you the rest... w00t!

Tesser, do me a favor and try to cop Steve Nash's autograph when goes ther... oh wait, HE'S NOT GOING!!

so how's the team sellection work?

They round up the 5 least lazy guys on the Island and make them shoot hoops?

it was like that at my parents place. it hadn't rained in months. it ended up raining a good portion of the weekend. just enough to scare the tourists off and allow some kick ass wakeboarding.

Kilo and mams...you fuckers kill me. ha-ha.

oh yeah...kilo...that thing I was trying not to do this weekend...things got way outta control. guess thats what happens when you hand your sobriety over to one honey of a bartender. I'm suprised she didn't kill me.

Canada got lucky on the last quarter of that prelim, after 3 quarters trailing behind us. Oh well, it's the final standings that count.

Your team selection idea is probably correct, but then, what does it say aboot bigass Canada losing to 5 relatively unlazy puertorricans? Stick to your eskimo ice sports.

It says that those 'ricans are just so desperate to get off that island

and out of the third world that they'd stop being lazy for the duration

of a basketball game. Canadians dont have economic factors to worry

abooot because we've already got jobs and more than just beans and

rice on the table for Thanksgiving dinner.

so you had an unsober weekend steve?

I'm planning on having a super unsober weekend this one coming up.

That's right, you also have moose, cold stuff, and millions of square miles of absolutely worthless land. I mean, if we had an economy based on ice exportation and strip clubs as well, we'd be making a killing.

Unfortunately, we're too busy relaxing in the tropics. And beating Canadians when we're feeling active.

last i checked my province had approx. 800-900 fires

going strong and kablingionsz in damage, so some piddly rain would be helpful.

i'm not complainin' though, i'm off to the lake for some weed, beautiful ladies

in bikinis and some pervert scopin' with crystal clean water and mountains for

extra ball tinglin'.
