ment2 Posted September 4, 2003 Share Posted September 4, 2003 my skatepark is different because its burnside. and its not even dirty, at least not anymore. sure fools get drunk there on the weekend but a lot of the same fools repaint the place every few months and patch up the cracks and shit. After 11 o'clock you can skate to the drunken cheers of 3 of the cities finest bums who hate to have their pictures taken. N. Graff. Its legal. This isnt like YOUR skatepark. we dont have bowls and sloped walls. nothing is smooth. so the walls are easy to paint. O. Climb to the top of the pyramid and you have your choice of tossing off shopping carts, smoking a bowl, or sliding down the ramp on your belly. P. truckers that will sometimes honk at you as they go up one of the near by onramps. Q. skaters with markers that will doodle all over your piece. Violators subject to citation. -Skateboards and in-line skates with composite wheels only. Bicycles, scooters, and metal skate wheels are not allowed. -Hours of operation: 9:00 a.m. to sunset daily. -No alcohol or glass containers. -No amplified sound, including boom boxes. -No graffiti or littering. -Do not rearrange or move any part of this facility. Reminders: -Be respectful and courteous toward park users, nearby businesses, and residences -Experienced riders shall give less-experienced riders a fair chance to use this skate park. -Due to safety concerns, spectators must remain in the bleacher area or outside the fence. -Skateboards and in-line skates must be in good working order. -Do not use the skate park if hazardous conditions exist.
